Baden-Württemberg’s Social Minister Oliver Hildenbrand welcomed around 200 guests at the first CSD state reception of the new regional government, held at the Kursaal in Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt. The focal point of the Tuesday event was the continued implementation of the Action Plan “For Acceptance & Equal Rights in Baden-Württemberg”.
“Queer life needs protection, safety and solidarity. Especially now,” said the Green-led Social Affairs Minister. The state government will continue to implement the action plan with unwavering resolve and is committed to equal opportunities and inclusive participation across all areas of life.
Among the guests were numerous representatives of the queer community from throughout Baden-Württemberg. Funded projects from the region showcased their work and demonstrated how they contribute to carrying out the action plan. The statewide Queer Network Baden-Württemberg also presented its key focus areas. Artistic contributions rounded out the program.
