Since Saturday, OUTtv has been available on Germany’s largest streaming platform Joyn. “This partnership makes it possible for us to share entertaining and authentic stories from the LGBTQI+-community,” said Marc Putman, founder and CEO of OUTtv, in a press release. “With our linear channel and the on-demand offering, we’re excited to bring Joyn users a vibrant mix of queer films, series, and original productions that inspire and connect.”
Joyn, operated by the Seven. One Entertainment Group (a part of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE), reports more than 10.4 million monthly users. “The partnership brings stronger LGBTQI+-representation to one of Europe’s most dynamic streaming platforms,” OUTtv said.
Joyn said it is “proud” of the collaboration launched for Berlin’s CSD. “OUTtv is committed to increasing visibility for the LGBTQ+-community, telling their stories, and celebrating the diversity of life paths. Together, Joyn and OUTtv will make queer topics accessible to an even broader audience going forward.”
