No matter how far she goes, Vanessa Borck (29) is set to turn heads on “Let’s Dance.” The lesbian influencer and former “Princess Charming” has revealed that starting February 27 she will be swirling across the TV dance floor with a woman partner. But it isn’t the first time this kind of pairing has appeared on the show.
Borck, who shares a daughter with her ex-wife Ina, and who in 2025 pursued a new romance while living as “Princess Charming,” told RTL that she doesn’t have a preference for a female dance pro. However, given her height of 1.79 meters, she could imagine having a taller partner by her side to avoid a noticeable height gap. Otherwise, she simply hopes the chemistry will click so the two women can feel comfortable while dancing.

“I could never fully express that with a man”
In an interview with “Bild,” Vanessa Borck emphasized her decision with the words: “Two women can dance just as well, feel, flirt, and tell a story.” She wants to clear stereotypes as a feminine, queer woman. “Through my sexuality, I simply feel closer to women. And dancing has a lot to do with emotion, including flirting. I could not express that with a man.”
Vanessa “Nessi” Borck rose to prominence alongside her former wife through the YouTube channel “Couple On Tour.” The pair welcomed daughter Olivia Rose via a sperm donation. Just before Nessi gave birth, Ina suffered a stroke in 2022—a heavy blow to the relationship that eventually fell apart in 2024.
Premiere with Kerstin Ott
Following Kerstin Ott (44), Vanessa Borck becomes the second “Let’s Dance” contestant to team up with a professional partner. The schlager singer caused a landmark moment in 2019 during the show’s twelfth season when she danced with Regina Luca (37) (Queer.de reported). That duo, however, exited after the fifth episode.
In recent seasons, the show has featured other notable pairings: last year, professional dancer Renata Lusin (38) paired in a partner-swap to tango with stuntwoman Marie Mouroum (33) on the floor. Ex-“Prince Charming” Nicolas Puschmann (34) danced in 2021 with Vadim Garbuzov (38) in the show’s first all-male couple, finishing in a commendable third place (Queer.de reported).
