Berlin: Poster Campaign to Strengthen LGBTQ+ Youth Services

Since January 19, 2026, the 14th poster campaign by the Berlin Queer Coalition has been drawing attention across the city to the importance of queer youth work and queer youth centers. The campaign’s goal is to make the relevance of these services visible, to empower queer youth, and to sensitize Berlin’s civic community to the special role of queer youth work.
In collaboration with the queer youth club Q*ube, the Berlin-based agency Heldisch developed a campaign motif that is visible on more than 3,000 advertising spaces across the city provided by Wall GmbH. “Here we can be who we are,” the poster proclaims. “Queer youth facilities provide protection, support, and orientation!”
“Queer youth work and queer youth facilities are indispensable protection and development spaces for many young people,” explained Chris Walter, project coordinator of the Berlin Queer Coalition. “With this year’s poster campaign we want to show how vital these offerings are for self-determination, safety, and participation of queer youth in Berlin.”
The QR code shown on the posters links to a dedicated campaign website. There, in addition to basic information about the campaign, you’ll find insights into what queer youth facilities mean from the perspective of queer youth, as well as an overview of the services offered by queer youth work in Berlin.
