Germany’s Next Top Model to Air in February with Jean Paul Gaultier

The premiere date for the 21st season of the modeling show “Germany’s Next Top Model” (GNTM) has been set: starting Wednesday, February 11, viewers can once again watch aspiring models compete for a place on Heidi Klum’s show. The date was announced by ProSieben, which, together with the streaming platform Joyn, will broadcast the program at 8:15 p.m.

The network also announced a “nice special new feature”: the season will begin with the airing of open auditions for men. A day later, on Thursday, the women will take the GNTM stage.

During the auditions, contestants must prove themselves not only to Klum but also face the judgment of a renowned gay fashion designer. Klum said: “Jean Paul Gaultier is supporting me this year at the start in selecting my models.” She is looking forward to the 21st season: “And yes — this time we’re kicking off on Wednesday with our men!”
