Wetten, dass..?: Kaulitz Brothers Get High-Profile Backing

The Kaulitz twins are getting reinforcement on “Wetten, that..?” from entertainer and stand-up comedian Parshad (29). They revealed this on Instagram in a humorous video. In the clip, Bill Kaulitz (37) is seen telling his twin Tom that it stresses him “to the max” that he can’t be everywhere, “especially backstage.”
Behind the scenes, “there’s a lot going on,” his brother agrees in the clip. The two agree that they need someone “to collect the gossip,” with everyone on a first-name basis and “to coax everything out.” They even have the look for their support planned: “black-and-white, at most silver, maybe a streak in the hair,” they explain before Parshad’s performance. “I’m in, I’m doing it,” the entertainer says, prompting Bill to cheer: “Yes, we’ve got her.”
In the caption accompanying the clip, it reads: “Parshad now has an absolute dream job! She’s taking you backstage to ‘Wetten, that..?’ The only instruction from Bill and Tom: as much gossip as possible. This is going to be good!”

Parshad Esmaeili hails from Darmstadt. She became known, among other things, through the “ZDF Magazin Royale” with Jan Böhmermann or the stand-up mix show “Funny Bones” by Carolin Kebekus. On ARD/ZDF’s youth network Funk and in other videos, she also playfully tackled the topic of queerness (TheColu.mn reported).

Since 2026 she has hosted the show “Neo Match Up” on ZDFneo. Along with Marc Augustat, she also runs the podcast “Phenomenal Paranormal.”

Huge interest in the reboot of “Wetten, that..?”

Parshad’s collaboration with Bill and Tom Kaulitz will be visible on December 5, when the Tokio Hotel stars will host the ZDF show for the first time. Interest in the reboot is enormous. About 288,000 ticket requests were submitted to ZDF, the broadcaster announced. Just two hours after registrations opened, 78,000 people had signed up—this was the highest number ever. The winners were drawn by a digital random process.

It will be broadcast live on December 5 starting at 8:15 p.m. CET (2:15 p.m. ET) from the Messe Hall in Halle (Saale), with about three hours planned. The guests on the couch are still being kept under wraps by ZDF. Beginning at 7:25 p.m. CET (1:25 p.m. ET), Janin Ullmann and Marvin Fischer will kick off the evening with “Wetten, that..?” – The Countdown. (spot)
