Author Lauren Weisberger was born in 1977 in Scranton, Pennsylvania. After college, she herself worked as an assistant at the American fashion magazine Vogue. That experience profoundly shaped her novel “The Devil Wears Prada.”
With her 2003 debut, Weisberger scored an international bestseller that has been translated into many languages. Since then she has published several more novels in which she dissects worlds of glamour, ambition, and societal pressure.
