After a yearlong break, “The Helene Fischer Show” is returning to screens. As usual, ZDF will air the Christmas show on Christmas Day at 8:15 PM. This was announced by both the broadcaster and Helene Fischer (42) on Instagram.
In 2025 the show paused after the birth of Fischer’s second daughter in August. For the 2026 edition, ZDF now promises “an evening full of music, emotions and spectacular staging.” The lineup will include contemporary hits and evergreen favorites, performances by national and international stars, as well as “big and unique show acts.”
Helene Fischer looks forward to the return of her Christmas show
“I’m really excited that the Helene Fischer Show will be back this year. For me, it’s always something special because we bring together so many different artists and create something that you can only see in this show,” she is quoted as saying in ZDF’s release.
Fischer also confirms the event on Instagram. “You whispered, hoped, and of course already guessed—and now I can finally confirm: The Helene Fischer Show is coming back this year as well,” she writes there.

“And this time, a little earlier: at the end of October, we will record the show in Düsseldorf,” Fischer adds. The recordings are slated for October 30 and 31, according to ZDF. Ticket pre-sale, per Fischer’s Instagram post, begins on September 6.
“The Helene Fischer Show” premiered in 2011.
