As Germany’s Next Topmodel enters its 21st season and heads toward the finale, the production team has already kicked off the next cycle: the casting phase for season 22 is officially open. The show’s official Instagram account announced the news. Heidi Klum (52) will once again host GNTM.
If you want to join the upcoming season, you have until June 21 to apply. The entry requirements are purposefully inclusive: anyone can apply regardless of gender, body size, or age—the only condition is that you must be at least 18 years old.
In Just a Few Steps to Apply
The application process is conducted entirely online. First, interested applicants should prepare a personal video as well as several photos before filling out the registration form. After you register, you’ll complete an additional questionnaire, and in the final step you submit the personal video.

That the entry period for 2027 begins while the current season is still airing is no coincidence. The finale of season 21 is approaching, with the latest episodes airing on Thursdays at 8:15 p.m. and a live stream available on Joyn. At the same time, the production team keeps the momentum going and is already reaching out to the next generation of potential contestants.
