Berlin Library Hosts Drag Storytime for Kids Four and Up

The Ingeborg-Drewitz Library in Berlin-Steglitz will host on October 24, 2025 a drag reading titled “We Read You the World, the Way You Like It.” Children aged four and up are invited to attend. “The magical Queen Vicky Voyage and the legendary King Eric will share fairy tales about love and tolerance,” the announcement says. “Immerse yourself in colorful and magical worlds!”
The two drag artists will read aloud from a total of four books: “Flora und der Honigkuss” by Barbara Müller and Ann-Kathrin Nikolov, “The Princess in the Bag” by Robert Munsch, “Vom kleinen Maulwurf, der wissen wollte, wer ihm auf den Kopf gemacht hat” by Werner Holzwarth and Wolf Erlbruch, and “My Shadow Is Pink” by Scott Stuart.
The event starts at 5 p.m., and admission is free. Advance registration is required by calling (030) 90299 2410 or by email. Entry is allowed only for children and one accompanying adult upon presentation of identification. The Ingeborg-Drewitz Library is located at Grunewaldstraße 3.
