Julian and Marcell Stir Up the Celebrity Summer House

In the latest episode of “Summer House of the Stars” (Tuesday at 8:15 p.m. on RTL, also available on RTL+), Vanessa Neigert (34) and Giovanni Weisheit (32) were the first couple of the season to voluntarily leave the house. In episode five, the first replacement couple moves into the Barlo farm in Bocholt: entertainer Julian F. M. Stoeckel (39, known from “Naked Attraction”) and his partner Marcell Damaschke (31). The latter is a puppet designer, which you can tell from his outfit. He has Barbie dolls attached to his suit.
But let’s start from the beginning: In every season of the trashy reality show, there’s this one couple that fights more with themselves than with the other contestants. In the eleventh edition, Hati Suárez (26) and Alex Molz (30) take on that role. At the start of the episode, their wear-and-tear battle continues. This time, Hati complains that Alex smokes too much.
The first game takes place right in the Summer House. The couples must form as many nouns as possible from small stones with letters and thread them onto a string. The problem: aside from Anna Lisson (26), no one knows what a noun is. Anna reveals it to Ferry Pall (31) and Kathy Hartlieb (29) and now fears they’ll be faster than she is with their partner Tano Milingi (25).
Nico Legat (28), who is banned from playing the game with his girlfriend Laura Parrinello (26), watches the other couples work and informs his ally Anita Latifi (30) about the kinds of words they’re forming.
Anna’s fear appears to be confirmed. Ferry and Kathy bow out first, followed by Anita and Fabrice (28). But the aim isn’t speed; it’s which couple has used the most letters. And there Anna and Tano are leading. Are they thereby safe from a nomination?

Alex cries in secret – Hati mocks him

Hati and Alex are the only couple who didn’t drop a chain. They get into another argument during the challenge, though this time the clash is more intense than usual. Hati calls Alex a “weak person.” “I don’t want this anymore,” she says, and banishes Alex from her bed. The relationship, which has only existed since 2025, now appears to be “on the rocks.”
Alex turns away and bursts into tears. Only after he regains his composure does he rejoin the group. But Hati watches him very closely from a distance. Later, Hati confides in their arch-enemy Anita that she would have loved to burst out laughing at Alex’s tearful moment. Spurred by Anita, Nico tells Alex about it. The latter confronts Hati. She denies everything and is disappointed that Alex buys into his rival’s version of events.
Eventually, Alex and Hati manage to patch things up. “I love you,” they tell each other. But the next morning the argument resumes. Alex complains that Hati is too open in the Summer House. He ventures into the toxic-masculine territory: “My wife should cover up.”

“Old couple” enters

Now the queer replacement couple enters. Before Julian and Marcell get to meet the other contestants, the “old married couple” (Julian) must head straight into the game arena. The couples must take turns answering questions. A wrong answer means both must swallow the gross dishes. Anyone who refuses or spits out is out.

Here too, tension erupts between Hati and Alex. When she gives up, he bangs the table so hard that a glass shatters. Hati then douses him with water in the face. The winners of the round are Michelle Daniaux (28) and Sandro (31), who are also safe.
“Nico? Who was Nico again?”
Julian and Marcell are finally allowed to meet their fellow housemates. The two new alliances—Anita/Nico versus the rest—immediately scramble for the newcomers. Nico puts on a confident front. “The bond I have with Julian is something no one here has,” says the celebrity scion. But Julian doesn’t seem to know what to make of that. “Nico? Who was Nico again?” he asks at one point. How serious that was remains to be seen.

At the end of the episode, there isn’t a nomination yet—only a mood snapshot. Anita hatches a plan. She nominates Julian and Marcell and tries to pin the blame on the opposing alliance. The others smell a setup, but the most votes actually go to Anita and Fabrice, which means they’ll be on the chopping block in the next episode. (spot/cw)
