Heidi Klum (53) is once again on the hunt for the next generation of models: Filming has begun in Munich for the 22nd season of “Germany’s Next Top Model,” according to ProSieben. To mark the start of production in the Bavarian capital, Heidi Klum welcomed all the models she had selected in advance for the show.
Heidi Klum explained at the outset of the production: “New season, new models, new stories — and of course plenty of challenges! I’m excited that it’s finally getting started.” The 53-year-old added: “An exciting journey lies ahead with many surprises. I’m curious to see which models will surprise me most this season.” The new season will be available from spring 2027 on ProSieben, as announced.
Size, weight and gender also do not play a role in the new season: All interested people aged 18 and over could apply. This ensures a fourth season with both female and male Nachwuchsmodels (up-and-coming models).
Heidi Klum also celebrated her “HeidiFest” in Munich
In Munich, Heidi Klum has been living for some time. The model had already celebrated the “HeidiFest” there on Thursday before the official Oktoberfest kickoff. Around 900 guests gathered at Munich’s Hofbräuhaus. On the guest list were, among others, Heidi Klum’s husband Tom Kaulitz, daughter Leni, and mother Erna, as well as models Naomi Campbell, Nadja Auermann, Anna Ermakova and Barbara Meier. The Wiesn show was broadcast on RTL.
Now Heidi Klum is eagerly awaiting the GNTM shoot in the city. On Instagram, the show’s host posted a photo of her preparations for the shoot with the caption: “Germany’s next Topmodel — So I’m ready for Season 22!”
