Netflix has announced the wrap of filming for the hit series “Emily in Paris.” With its sixth season, the Lily Collins–led show, starring Collins as Emily Cooper, will come to a close. Emily steps into a new chapter “full of ambition and romance” and faces pivotal decisions that will test her loyalty, the streaming service previewed about the new episodes ahead of their release.
Further details about Season Six read: “Yet unexpected professional conflicts and changes in her relationships will make her question where her future truly lies. In the end, she must make one final decision: between her career, her heart, and the life she has built in Paris.”

Actress Lily Collins posted an emotional message on Instagram after her last day of filming as Emily: “I am speechless. It’s impossible to put into words what this journey has meant to me,” she wrote about the series. “For so many years, Emily has been a part of my life, and in every season she has consistently surprised, inspired, and challenged me.”
She thanked series creator Darren Star (65) for creating “this endlessly optimistic American girl in Paris,” a character who constantly ends up outside “his comfort zone and learns to trust herself while leaning on others to navigate her new life,” Collins continued. “I am so grateful that you trusted me to bring her to life.”
Collins also expressed thanks to the team, the writers, the directors, and her co-stars. “You’ve made Emily into Emily. You’ve helped this world feel like home. And thank you to all of you who have supported and inspired us over the past seven years and six seasons.”
“I will carry this chapter in my heart forever,” Lily Collins said. The farewell felt completely surreal and bittersweet, but above all she is incredibly proud and grateful to have had the chance to be Emily. “That experience changed me forever. Au revoir, Emily Cooper …”

The Stars of the Show Are Back for Season Six
The Netflix series “Emily in Paris” premiered in 2020. Netflix announced in August that the new episodes would drop on December 24, just in time for Christmas. All the familiar cast members, including Emily’s friend Mindy (Ashley Park, 35) and agency chief Sylvie Grateau (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, 63), are returning. Minnie Driver (56), who joined the Netflix series in the previous season, is also back.
