Erotic Men’s Hair

Human hair trends follow the diktats of fashion, and even in an era of globalization, regional quirks still shape how people perceive the beauty of a full head of hair. Rastafarians and Arctic-influenced aesthetics have different ideas about what constitutes hair’s allure. Hair has a certain magic. Whether one should never cut or trim it is a matter of belief.
Lovingly painted hair and fine strands on a man’s body are Max Ströder’s specialty. He captures them with meticulous precision on handcrafted oil paintings, usually in a compact size (24×30 cm), in an orgy of grayscale, black and white — with gray tones that have yet to be seen.

Calendars Featuring Painted Erotic Male Motifs

The calendars from Munich’s Kunstbehandlung gallery, featuring painted erotic male motifs, have a standing place on many walls year after year. The new editions for 2026 from Kurt Walters, Luke Carter, Robert C. Rore, and Max Ströder (each 14 sheets, 21 x 14.8 cm, consistently four-color, spiral-bound) are now available for 10 euros each at kunstbehandlung.com. There, exclusively homoerotic, contemporary art by gay artists is presented.
The majority of the works concentrate on depicting the male body, which is shown mostly lightly dressed or nearly nude. Exhibited and offered for sale are paintings, watercolors, drawings, FineArt prints, and entire series by the Munich painter and draughtsman Robert C. Rore, while the other exhibited artists focus primarily on painting or photography. (dd/pm)
