20% Theatre Company Twin Cities presents THE PINK UNICORN by Elise Forier Edie

Directed by Claire Avitabile, Starring Mykel Ann Pennington

“How on God’s green earth can you be both a boy and a girl?”

At once hilarious and heartfelt, THE PINK UNICORN is an award-winning solo theatre piece that tells the story of Trisha Lee, a Christian widow, living in a conservative Texas town, whose life is thrown into turmoil when her teenage daughter announces she is “gender queer” and starting a Gay/Straight Alliance at the local high school. When the school principal rejects the GSA’s application for inclusion as a school club, Trisha must choose sides in her rapidly dividing town.
