The National: Advocate Gives Homophobic Senator Tom Coburn a Column

From the man who thinks the “gay agenda” is the biggest threat to “our liberty,” comes an editorial in the Advocate. Senator Tom Coburn (R-OK) argues that the Ryan White CARE program’s waiting list for HIV drugs shows government to be incapable of running a healthcare plan. Funny thing is, as the Bilerico Project reports, in 1997 Coburn introduced a bill that would have reduced the amount of money in the Ryan White CARE program available for HIV/AIDS drugs.
