Fleet is tonight at the Minneapolis Armory
How many of you have walked past the Minneapolis Armory over the past years and thought it would be a great place for a light show and dance event? I have said this to many people while walking past the historic landmark and I am very pleased to say tonight is the night! The space has not been used for a public event since the Beach Boys performed there in the 1970’s Having served as home for the Minneapolis Lakers and hosted greats like Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin, tonight the space will be transformed for a giant closing party for the 2012 NAGAAA Gay Softball Word Series. After five days of being up to bat, the players from all over the US will be able to mix and mingle with fans at Fleet Night | The 2012 World Series Gay Softball Danceria. In addition to dink specials with great names like First Mate, Top Gun and Sultry Nights, the place will be ablaze with a great light show. DJ Kasper is spinning and the crowd is sure to be alive with energy!
