The National Organization for Marriage’s Maggie Gallagher will be in Owatonna on Sunday, Mar. 4 to give a talk called “Defending Marriage in an Age of Confusion.”

According to the announcement in the Rochester Post-Bulletin, “NOM played a role in persuading Minnesota to pass a marriage amendment, bringing the issue to voters in 2012.”

And…

“The presentation is a collaboration of The Call to Be Catholic Speaker Series of Owatonna and the Respect Life Groups of South Central MN. The goal of both groups is to work across parish boundaries to promote knowledge and understanding of the church’s teaching on moral issues.”

The speech is at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 4, at Sacred Heart Church in Owatonna.
