Michele Bachmann’s Iowa campaign co-chair met up with Bob Vander Plaats of the Family Leader to talk about the implications of same-sex marriage — it will lead to polygamy and even people marrying objects such as the Eiffel Tower.

Tamara Scott is the director of the Concerned Women for America Iowa chapter, and she’s also recently signed on as the co-chair of Bachmann’s campaign in Iowa. Vander Plaats’ Family Leader has gotten the support and attention of almost all Republican presidential candidates even though the group has said that same-sex marriage is akin to slavery and that homosexuality is like second hand smoke.

Scott says that marriage equality will lead to group marriage and then object marriage. She warns that people watching at home “may think this woman is nuts.”
