Join us for an evening of ‘Spring Bowling for Equality’ at Park Tavern, in St. Louis Park, one week after the first day of Spring! The event will be hosted by the Twin Cities Human Rights Campaign with our special emcee for the evening ‘Gosh Alice Jones.’ It’s a great way to support the Human Rights Campaign and join other members of the community for food and fun!

Registration starts at 2pm – bowling and fun ensue at 3pm!

From research awards to colloquia to a Distinguished Lecture Series, the Schochet Endowment strives to establish a more vibrant GLBT academic community at the University and to make it more accessible to all students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community members.

The Schochet Endowment will be presenting its second lecture series of the spring term, titled “Being Queer: Doing Theatre”. This panel d…iscussion will be moderated by Eric Colleary (PhD candidate, Theatre Historiography at UMN-TC). We will discuss the process of “doing” theatre and performance through the lens of queerness. This event is free, and open to the public.

We spotlight some of Latin A…merica’s wondrous legends like La Llorona, add a touch of heat with the sensuous rhythms of the conga and tango, and feature the heart-pounding music of Marc Anthony and Ricky Martin.

Goggin’s musical review Nunsense for a limited one weekend engagement at The Lab Theater.

Nunsense will only have 4 performances so make your reservations early!

The show is a musical review staged by five nuns seeking to raise money for the burials of departed sisters who have been poisoned by a tainted batch of vichyssoise soup. Featured in Rooftop’s production are veterans and newcomers to the stage from throughout Minnesota with over 60 years of on stage experience. Fun for the whole family!
