17 are dead and another 18 are injured after gunmen attacked a birthday party in the northern Mexican city of Torreon on Sunday. According to the LA Times, the gunmen blocked doors to the party and opened fire indiscriminately on the revelers. The party had been announced on a local gay community group’s Facebook page, but authorities say they believe drug gang feuds lay behind the massacre.
