…we will know we’ve won full equality. Until then, the Department of Natural Resources is hell bent on investigating same-sex couples for getting family fishing licenses despite Minnesota prohibition against gay couples fishing together.

CO Lloyd Steen (Ray/Kabetogama) patrolled area lakes checking fishermen. Walleye bite seems to be picking up. Numerous boating safety and registration violations were encountered along with illegal length fish on experimental regulation lakes. He also finished up an investigation where a same sex couple fraudulently obtained combination fishing licenses (MN recognizes husband and wife only) five years in a row from different ELS registration stations.
