Youth Pride 2010
Although the planning (and therefore the word) arrived late this year – Youth Pride 2010 was a hit! The event was held at Loring Park in the heart of downtown Minneapolis.
Hundreds of youth assembled near the Victory garden on Thursday to celebrate their lives and one another. Programs that serve the LGBTAQ youth were their in force to educate about their services. One program – District 202, was there to promote their 2010 Youth Pride Prom. Youth Prom this year is happening at Aloft in downtown Minneapolis on Washington Ave. For more information go to the District 202 website.
