Amanda Gonzalez-Andujar, 29, was found sprawled naked in her New York City apartment yesterday, strangled to death in an apparent murder. The New York Daily News reports that her apartment was ransacked, showing signs of a struggle. Friends had been unable to contact Gonzalez-Andujar since Friday, when she’d been out on the town with friends and family. Even though Gonzalez-Andujar had not yet undergone surgery, and her body was found stripped of all clothing except a bra, the killing has not been classified as a hate crime by New York City Police, and news reports don’t suggest police, or her friends, have any idea who could be behind the murder.
