Tickles Grand Relocating

tickles front

What better way for a local business to ring in a new year than with a new location?  Last night I swung by the new location of Tickles bar to see how things were coming along for their grand opening of the new location today.

  Joel and Roy

It is looking very swanky and Joel Janssen, business partner of Roy Caples, owner was very gracious to spend a few minutes with me filling me in on the details about the move.

They opened their new doors Thursday and it is indeed an impressive atmosphere.  They have expanded the food selection and have retained their original chef Scott Fagula to create the menu and specials ranging from simple fare to weekend brunches including Prime Rib & Hash.  The new location is conveniently located at 420 South 4th Street in downtown Minneapolis.  There is plenty of metered parking as well as an affordable ramp connected to the building they call their new home.  Of particular delight is the daily happy hour including a penny pinching favorite of mine the Wednesday night BOGO Date Night.  For those looking for a night out without the gouge to the pocketbook this is a place to add.  With food choices ranging from less than $5 appetizer and salad selections to a 14 oz. cut of Prime Rib still weighing in at less than a Jackson you can make it in and out economy style.

Good luck on the new location and I look forward to checking back soon to see how things are coming along.  If you are looking for a last minute place to go this New Year’s Eve, consider Tickles in their new location.  Nicole Miller will begin tickling the ivories of their delightful grand piano on its new stage at 9pm.

Happy New Year all and remember with it being a full/blue moon and a lunar eclipse all coinciding tonight – Be Safe!

Love & Peace

Margie
