“This is Jerry Herman’s best musical yet–happier, more assertive, more buoyant than Hello Dolly! or Mame.”—The New York Post

This Tony Award-winning story begins after 20 years of un-wedded bliss for Georges and Albin, two men partnered for “better-or-worse.” They get a bit of both when Georges’ son (fathered during a one-night fling) announces his impending marriage to the daughter of a right-wing politician. Further complicating the situation is the “family business”: Albin and Georges run a drag nightclub in St. Tropez where Albin is the star performer. Georges reluctantly agrees to masquerade as “normal” when he meets the family of the bride-to-be. But Albin has other plans, with hilarious results.

Throughout the Month of January QUEER! is BACK!
QUEER! is making a comeback all across the Twin Cities with pop up performances at some of your favorite venues! Partnering with some amazing organizations here in the metro, we have been able to bring QUEER! to 3 entirely new venues in January. All venues only cost $10 (although you are more than welcome to give give give so much more if you are able).

QUEER! was conceived in house based on over a hundred submissions and interviews, and tells the stories of people within the LGBTQ community—stories of marginalization, oppression, and triumph. QUEER! premiered at the Bisexual Organizing Project’s Because Conference, and was recognized by Lavender as Outstanding Achievement in Performance Art for it’s June 2013 run. It has been rewritten for 6 actors playing multiple parts and the one drag queen MC as well as to stay current on issues important to this community. So join us for a Gadfly original and let’s support our community together.
