Scenes from the Easter Bonnet Parade

The annual David O. Brown Easter Bonnet Parade was held at the Minneapolis Eagle on Sunday. Judges judged a series of bonnets and the contestants took to the streets to show off their handicrafts.

The parade is named after David Olaf Brown, one of the first founders of the Easter tradition at the Eagle. Minneapolis Mayor Betsy Hodges honored Brown with a proclamation naming April 20, 2014, “David Olaf Brown Day” in Minneapolis.
