Tell us a little about your inspiration. What inspires you? Life! I am surrounded by communities who inspire me – whether on the stage or behind the scenes. I love researching historical figures and paying homage to them through new bodies of work.

Tell us about one piece, work, or performance about which you are particularly proud? I’m exceptionally proud of the showcase coming up this weekend. It’s my first efforts as a producer and director to take on a 3-day 5-show extravaganza that illuminates the beauty in diversity through exceptional performance art.

Anything else you’d like to share with us? Diversi-Tease has shows this week at the Ritz Theater in NE Minneapolis.  Come check out the vast array of talent I have assembled in my first venture as the producer and director of this effort.
