Big Gay Race to raise money to fight — and raise awareness about — the anti-gay marriage amendment. Last year, over 2,000 people participated in the Big Gay Race. This year’s race is on September 29 in Minneapolis.

“The event is really less of a race and more of a parade,” he said. “On race day we had 2000 happy smiling warriors out there on Main Street.”
