Young Republicans to host marriage amendment conversation

0

A group of young Republicans are hosting a conversation about the anti-gay marriage amendment this week. The group says it hopes to include people on many different sides of the issue.

Here’s what the group has to say:

Open Conversation on the Marriage Amendment
Thursday, Dec. 8, 5:00pm until 7:00pm

Earlier this year, the Minnesota Legislature voted to include a ballot measure that would define marriage between one man and one woman.

Recently, a group of young Republicans got together and decided it’s time for an open conversation on what this amendment will mean to the future of Minnesota, but also what it will mean for the future of our party.

Whether you are pro-amendment, indifferent or anti-amendment, we believe it’s time to hear a different perspective from our Republican leaders.

All are welcome to attend an open dialogue with fermented beverages, food specials, and special guests Representative John Kriesel, Representative Tim Kelly and Professor Dale Carpenter.

Please pass on!
