Muffins, I do apologize for having dropped the ball for the past several weeks. Between illness and injury I have had a bit of a rough go of it. I am back on the treadmill with you and bringing you my best picks of upcoming events. I am grateful that the weather does seem to finally be improving somewhat so get out and enjoy!

You may have heard it referred to as the Latex Luau. Perhaps you’ve overheard someone refer to the Latex Beach Party? Maybe you’ve seen a flier for the Costume Party featuring a man dressed as a condom? Well they are ALL the same event! No – it was NOT some sort of a trick – just too many idea cooks! Anyway, I do hope you will don your best latex and come on down to the Bolt Underground tonight at 9pm for this very worthy event. There is a $5 suggested donation being taken at the door benefiting the PrideAlive AIDS Walk team.
Gosh Alice Jones will be emceeing a costume party at around 10:30pm featuring the best use of latex and best interpretations of safer sex. Both Gosh and I will be milling about and the PrideAlive gang will be available to answer all of you deepest questions about LATEX!
Did I mention that the immensely talented DJ David B is spinning all night?

The Mother of All Shows is Erin Schwab, with Lori Dokken, musical directing an incredible band. Erin’s own “Harlettes” Rachel Holder, Katy Hays, and Katie Gearty. And, the amazing Kevin Werner Hohlstein, as, the hot guy. We pay homage to mothers everywhere the only way they know how…with a brassy over the top Bette Midler style extravaganza.
The show has two seatings, One for Brunch in the afternoon and One for dinner later. This experience is one you won’t want to miss. So bring your mom…your mother in law…or someone else’s Mom…enjoy great food, great atmosphere and a rocking good time.
