Outfront Minnesota invites you to join them to meet and hear Wayne Besen at the Hilton Garden Inn at 1101 4th Ave S in Minneapolis on Monday, January 30th from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. The event is free with lots of socializing opportunities. Wayne Besen is the founder of the organizationTruth Wins Out (TWO), Besen’s stop in Minneapolis is part of his “Pray Away the Gay” winter tour. Besen is also the author of the book: “Anything But Straight: Unmasking the Scandals and Lies Behind the Ex-Gay Myth”. In his book he is spreading information about the dangers of “conversion therapy” for LGBT individuals.

Wayne Besen has been a guest on CNN and MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow to comment on the opportunities and challenges facing equality for LGBT people. He regularly blogs on the topic of ex-gay groups and the efforts towards marriage equality that keeps those conversations in our communities moving forward.
