The second annual Our Voices: A LGBT Media/Arts Showcase will be held at the historic Schmidt Artist Lofts in St. Paul on October 24th, 2015. This exciting event is the annual fundraiser for The Column, and help us build a fund for LGBT-centric, arts-related reporting in Minnesota.

Starting at 5pm, enjoy drinks and small eats during the reception portion of the evening. Cassandra Snow will be offering queer-inclusive, kink and/or poly friendly tarot reading. For more information about Cassandra’s unique take on the ancient art of tarot, check our her series for The Column: Queering the Tarot. Be sure to also check out our silent art auction featuring amazing art, crafts, and art-related gift packages donated by LGBT artists and organizations.

At 7pm, step into the theater to take in a series of short performances by a diverse array of LGBT performers including Gadfly Theatre, Adam Dykes, Sarah McPeck, Jacksee, and more to be announced. The performance series will be emceed by renowned burlesque star Sweet Pea. At 9:30pm, stay for music, drinks, and socializing.

Tickets are available via Brown Paper Tickets, and are based on a suggested donation of $20, but we encourage everyone to contribute an amount that is meaningful to them. This event is for ages 21 and up.
