Sidhe Brewery on St. Paul’s east side will be the host location for an International Celebrate Bisexuality Day event on Wednesday, Sept. 30 from 6:30-9:30pm. The event is being organized by the Twin Cities-based Bisexual Organizing Project.

Celebrate Bisexuality Day is an international awareness day (also known as Bi Visibility Day and Bisexual Pride Day) that was conceived in 1999. The official date for Celebrate Bisexuality Day is Sept. 23, but since this year’s celebration landed on Yom Kippur, the the day will be celebrated a week later.

“We welcome our entire community of people attracted to more than one gender and our allies to our celebration,” event organizers wrote. “Bring friends, family, and kids to be a part of one of the best bi+ parties of the year.”

Light refreshments will be available, and the evening will include entertainment by the North Blues Project and BOP’s annual Community Recognition Awards.

The event is free. Sidhe Brewery is located at 652 Jenks Ave, St Paul 55106. For more information, visit the Bisexual Organizing Project’s website.
