Kick off Pride weekend from 4 PM-8:30 PM on Friday, June 26 with an outdoor, sunset pool party at The Calhoun Beach Club.

+ DJ Jeff Kirkwood (Toronto, Provincetown, Sydney) will be spinning Pride anthems
+ Drink specials and surprises (CASH BAR ONLY)

TICKETS- $12-15 (ADVANCE; TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE IN JUNE) $20 (DAY OF) (each ticket includes a FREE 3 Day Calhoun Beach Club Guest Pass, that means you’ll have extra days to party by the pool.) An online pre-purchase option may be available before the event, stay tuned.

CHANGING AREAS: CBC will have three changing areas available for the party (Gender-Neutral, Men and Women) for the party. For those looking for privacy, the bathrooms can be used for changing. CALHOUN BECH CLUB AND FLIP PHONE IS NOT RESPONSBIBLE FOR LOST OR STOLEN ITEMS.
BATHROOMS: There is one bathroom on the pool level. Guests are allowed to use bathrooms at the Urban Eatery Minneapolis (located below the pool)

Shades of Yellow (SOY) is hosting our annual Pride Picnic! This event will include games, arts and crafts, food, friends and fun. This is a family friendly, children friendly, pet friendly, sober event to celebrate our queer and trans Hmong, Asian and Pacific Islander family! Allies are welcome, but please remember that this is a safer space for queer and trans people of color to gather in community. There will be no alcohol permitted at this event.

We will be having a tie dye station, so bring your own white t-shirt to decorate if you’d like!

This picnic will be potluck style. Please bring a dish, drink or dessert to share. 🙂

Please arrive and park at the western parking lot. We will be at the park’s picnic shelter with a SOY banner!
