Last week Bebe did it live for us locally at The Saloon and today the press release announced it. That’s right: Bebe Zahara Benet IS The Shit! Bebe made waves as the first winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race on LOGO TV, much to the joy of Minneapolis, the city that calls her home. With the release of her first single on her new album, Cameroon, Bebe is on her way to superstardom. I had the opportunity to visit with Bebe last Wednesday as she rehearsed for her Thanksgiving Eve debut of the single. As has been my experience in the past, she was warm and gracious. I will be writing more about the interesting interview but for today I simply wish to say “You Go Girl!”
