triangleofhope

It seems hard to believe: Triangle of Hope is turning NINETEEN (!) so we’re celebrating our favorite way: by getting the Triangle of Hope “gang” together and hosting an “19th Anniversary Ex-drag-a-ganza” to benefit Clare Housing on Sunday, November 16th, 5pm, at the Town House Bar!

We’ll have the BEST in Twin Cities entertainers on hand to whoop it up, and because it’s Triangle of Hope, EVERY DOLLAR raised that afternoon will benefit CLARE HOUSING! Of course we’ll also have great baskets for raffle, and it just wouldn’t be a Triangle of Hope “ex-drag-a-ganza” without a few 50/50’s!

And yes, honey, we DO know that the Vikings/Bears football game is that day; don’t worry….the show will not start until the game is over!

Hosted by: Mary Brewster

Featuring: Your favorite Triangle of Hope entertainers from the past NINETEEN years, including:

Barbara Gordon
Burberry Vuitton
Dotti West
Dramatica
Ginger Snap
Gucci Velour
Lady Katie
Mia Dorr
Ravalution
Sweet Lilly Bee

nakedimankato

The Naked I: Insides Out is an original performance created by Minneapolis’s 20% Theatre Company. The performance “explores queer and trans* experiences through monologues, short scenes, and spoken word poems”. The literature used comes from an open call for any writings that address queer, transgender, and/or gender non-conforming issues. The show itself is performed, directed, and produced by local artists, many of whom identify as queer and/or trans*. The Naked I presents “fresh voices and unique perspectives on what it means to identify as queer and/or transgender/gender non-conforming.” This show is truly groundbreaking. It discusses identities that are often invisible, discounted, and precariously situated in our culture.

This performance is FREE and open to the public!

The Naked I: Insides Out is a brand new play from 20% Theatre Company in Minneapolis that explores queer, transgender, and gender non-conforming experiences through monologues, short scenes, and spoken word poems. The Naked I: Insides Out had it’s full-length, sold-out premiere in Minneapolis in February 2014 and involved over 80 LGBTQ and allied artists.
