Lyle “Ty” Hoffman is wanted by authorities

The Council on Crime and Justice and Crime Stoppers have set up fundraiser to generate funds for a reward for information leading to Hoffman’s capture. Crime Stoppers and the Council on Crime and Justice have contributed $10,000 to start the fund. Friends and family of Phillips have released this statement:

Dear Friends and Family:
For the last week we have given our thoughts and hearts to the memory of our friend Kelly, and to trying to bring some kind of peace and comfort to his family, his fiancé, and to ourselves. While those efforts continue, there is a critical element to this tragedy that must be resolved before anyone can truly start to heal. We must find Ty Hoffman.
We have set up a reward fund for information and we are asking you to visit this site to donate as soon as you can:https://www.thedatabank.com/dpg/464/donate.asp?formid=KellyPhillipsRF.
To help grow this reward, please give whatever you can for whatever reason makes sense to you: because you knew Kelly, because you can imagine the pain Nathon and Kelly’s family are going through as this case drags on; because you want to honor someone you’ve lost; because you or someone you know has been a victim of domestic violence; because our community has lost someone who was making it better, and could have done so much more. No amount is too small. And if you’re personally unable to donate, maybe you know someone who can.
Thank you for anything you can do.
Sincerely, the friends and family of Kelly Phillips

Hoffman is accused of killing Phillips at a gas station in Arden Hills. The two were former boyfriends and business partners who co-founded Lush Food Bar 5 years ago.
