For years, Minnesotans rallied at the state Capitol building urging legislators to reject an anti-gay marriage amendment and support marriage equality. with that goal accomplished, Minnesota largest LGBT political rally will shift focus.

OutFront Minnesota’s Lobby Day 2014 is planned for April 1 at 12pm at the Minnesota State capitol rotunda.

The theme for this year is “Creating a Safe & Healthy Future” and OutFront will be partnering with the Minnesota AIDS Project.

In addition to the noon rally, OutFront is hosting a Lobby Day Institute from 9-11:30 am comprised of four workshops: LGBT Equality & Faith Communities: What’s Next?, Transgender Justice in Minnesota, Keeping LGBT Students Safe at School and HIV Stigma & Discrimination.
