Orange is the New Black’s Laverne Cox is producing a documentary about CeCe McDonald, a transgender African American woman who was assaulted in south Minneapolis and then charged with the death of her attacker, a man with a swaztika tattoo on his chest.

The documentary crew has released a trailer, giving a sneak peak into what the final project may look like.

The project is still looking for donations through Indiegogo to get it completed.
