But, I know how it feels when I walk into a bike shop and have (mostly white male) employees ignore me and instead talk to my (male) best friend instead of me and that kind of thing. I want to have a space that is less about competition and more about fun and where people aren't treated like they are dumdums because they can't recite the hierarchical order of bike manufacturers from most to least expensive and that kind of thing.
