Creating Change continues through Sunday afternoon and is bringing with it many unique opportunities to network both at the conference and in the community. Here is a sampling of events and highlights.

How do you when you’re ready for a new relationship? It may be time to find out!
You don’t have to play the dating game blind folded anymore. It’s time to gain a clear vision of what makes you ready for relationship. Learn when the timing is wrong like when you’re still involved, lost your job or you’re newly broken up. Then take a relationship ready assessment to determine what you need to do to become ready. When the timing is right you’ll have the tools to enter the dating game prepared to win! The meeting will give you an opportunity to learn new skills, join in discussion, and gain support

Radical Faeries will be caucusing at Creating Change. Look for us in the program book and in the caucus process. Will also caucus Saturday evening 6:30-7:30.
In addition, the Kawashaway Faeries host a Heart Circle on the first Friday of each month, so we hope to connect the Faerie Caucus @ Creating Change to the Kawshaway heart circle — details TBA.

Join OUTmedia’s comedy sensation Ben Lerman and renowned slam poet Kit Yan for an evening of spoken word and humor. A ukulele-performing comedian, Ben is simply “brilliant” according to New York Magazine. Kit is a Curve Magazine favorite and is a featured artist in HBO’s documentary Asians Aloud. The event will also feature local queer youth spoken word artists and performers. This is an alcohol and drug free event for all ages. A dance party for guests under age 24 will follow the performance.
“Genderf*kation: A Gender Emancipation” full-length preview screening

Dirty Queer Show III
Saturday at 9:00pm – Sunday at 2:00am
Our mission is to push the boundaries of queer artists/performers & people in the non-mainstream side of sexuality & art.
The Dirty Queer Show is back, during Creating Change!
Last year we sold out, so come early if you want a good seat to the show. Hell’s Kitchen serves food and plenty of amazing drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic). The dance party will be hot enough to feel like SUMMER IN THE CITY.

The NOH8 Campaign will set up our studio at the W Minneapolis-The Foshay, opening up the opportunity to join the campaign to all the NOH8 supporters in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area!
The photo shoot is scheduled to begin at 1PM and end at 4PM. We will do our best to make sure that everyone in line by 4PM will get their photo! Anyone that would like to join the NOH8 Campaign is asked to wear a plain white shirt to match the look of the signature NOH8 photos.

Wednesday February 9
AIDS Action Day is the day that HIV advocates take over the state Capitol to increase visibility about HIV, meet with legislators, and rally in the Capitol Rotunda. The Minnesota AIDS Project public policy department will schedule meetings and provide attendees with issues and advocacy training. Legislators truly appreciate you taking time out of your busy day to come meet with them. Minnesota is facing a $6.2 billion dollar deficit in 2011. Your voice is needed more than ever. Your personal stories make the difference when it comes to protecting funds for HIV prevention and services.
