Cabaret Cocktail Hour after Urban Primitive Pop at the Loring Theater

8 – 11:30PM

The Loring Theater (Formerly the Music Box Theater)

1407 Nicollet Avenue South
Minneapolis, MN

Erin Schwab was asked to do a very special “post show cabaret performance/cocktail hour”, in the lobby/art gallery at the Loring Theater (formerly the Music Box Theater). This Saturday, 1/29, following the 8pm performance. The show is called Urban Primitive Pop.

The show features the artist, Billy Miller, or Billy the Artist, as he is known. A fantastic New York based artist. He will be painting a 6 foot by 10 foot canvas on a scaffolding, he will also be painting on a large piece of glass as well. While he paints, his story will be told. And in the end there will be a 6 foot by 10 foot painting. AMAZING! He is so incredible, talented and fun!

While he paints, local Twin Cities Band, Speed’s the Name, will be playing. They are also so AMAZING and TALENTED and GORGEOUS! They are using their original music and have created a very cool cover of a Rolling Stone song at the artist’s request.

Cattle – er… I mean Talent Call

From local director Bill Cooper

I’m looking for a diverse group of actors to audition for a research/educational website dealing with HIV prevention and thought you may know some actors that may be interested.

For the project, actors must be able to perform a realistic, memorized 1-2 minute testimonial and be comfortable with explicit material and portraying a gay man.  The website is secure and password protected and can only be viewed by research participants.

The testimonials will be shot in early March and may include evenings, late nights or weekends.  Shoot time is 2-3 hours and pays $100.

Auditions will be scheduled on Saturday, February 5th from 1-4pm.

Please have them send me their headshot and resume for consideration.

Thanks,

Bill Cooper
