The Tretter Collection at the University of Minnesota is one of the largest collections of LGBT history in the world, and will celebrate its 10th anniversary on Saturday. Started by The collection Jean-Nickolaus Tretter, the collection which bears his name now includes more than 40,000 items from famous queers such as Magnus Hirschfeld and Andy Warhol to items from some of Minnesota’s smallest LGBT groups.

At Saturday’s celebration, community members can bring with them items to include in a time capsule that will be opened in 50 years.

The event will be held on Saturday, Nov. 13 from 11am to 2pm
111 Elmer L. Andersen Library
222 21st Avenue South
