Doug Benson is right that it is terribly hard to listen to those who do not want marriage equality. It physically wore me out to hear their testimony. As a mother it breaks my heart to know they are speaking about people we dearly love … not just our son but all in the gay community.

I do think that everyone who testified for the other side was so outrageous I don’t think anyone could take their words as truth. They come across as very heartless people. May they one day understand how cruel their testimonies were to a whole segment of God’s creation.
