The Minnesota Stonewall DFL, the state’s LGBT caucus in the DFL, is seeking input on the questions the group poses to candidates seeking endorsement. The group is seeking feedback from everyone in Minnesota LGBT community from experienced politicos to those who only have an occasional interaction with politics.

“The intent here is to be more inclusive of the LGBT community and ask good questions of candidates seeking Stonewall DFL Endorsement,” chair Del Jenkins told The Column. Jenkins notes that the group has traditionally sought input from the broader LGBT community, and this year it wants to be even more engaged.

“It’s not that the process was walled off in other years,” he said.
