The Chameleon Theatre Circle presents
Turn of the Screw
Adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher from the story by Henry James
December 4-20, 2015
Directed by Benjamin Kutschied

A young woman journeys to a remote English manor to take up her new position as governess to the family’s two young children. But what happened to the previous governess? Layers of secrets are peeled away and tension mounts as the governess starts to question what – and who – is (or is not) real. Struggling to be the person she aspires to be, she strives to protect the children from the threats she perceives. Henry James’ famous tale of suspense, horror, and repressed sexuality is brought to the stage in a gripping adaptation by one of Minnesota’s finest playwrights.

Through these cold months, Dragged Out will keep things heated up for you! Come out and see some of your favorites from the cast, along with special guests! This month, we are even having a visitor from one of our past cast members! TAIYO! Come out and see the dancing machine take the stage! During the show, we will also be collecting money for the “3rd Annual Warm Hands and Hearts” fundraiser for St. Stephen’s Street Outreach(More info at the bottom)!

* Alfonso Leon
* Andre 1000
* Nocturna Lee Mission
* Xavier
* Damien D’Luxe

Special Guests
* Holliedazzle
* Taiyo
* LaVaughn
* Amunet Omorose

With our host of the night, B. Louise!!

Dragged Out will also have couple kings that will be battling it out on stage! The winner will get a spot at an upcoming Dragged Out show! As RuPaul would say, “It’s time to lip-sync for your lives!” The performer to get the most applause from the audience will be the winner!!

Throughout December, Dragged Out is teaming up with some of the other shows! Last winter, the Town House Bar held a “Hat and Mitten Drive” to support the homeless. The thought behind it was, warm hands = warm hearts. With the funds collected, the show directors then went out and purchased items, such as hats, mittens, scarves and socks to add to the items that the patrons brought in. Overall, it was a great success! We were able to bring hundreds of items to St. Stephen’s Outreach for distribution!

So throughout this night, we will be collecting money to support such a great cause!

Plus we will have plenty enough time after the show to get those dance moves on the floor!! In the back bar, there will also be karaoke!!
