St. Cloud Pride to celebrate 6 years

“I’m really proud of how it’s grown,” Jim Beck, vice president of St. Cloud Pride, told the St. Cloud Times. “It’s really about everybody coming out and showing their support…It’s really going to be more of an event than what it’s been in the past,” Beck said.

Friday night features Club Pride, a 16-plus event with bowling, dancing, food and fun at the Atwood Memorial Center from 9pm to midnight. Admission to the event is free.

At 10:30pm at Pioneer Place, the Carnivale Revolver Burlesque Show will feature magic, cabaret, drag, comedy, circus acts and more. Xavier and Nadi Amarena are hosting the show which costs $15 in advance and $18 at the door.

The Pride in the Park/Show Your Colors Celebration will be on Saturday from 11am to 4pm at Lake George. The event will have entertainment including the Honey Badgers and Collective Unconscious, exhibitors, food vendors, and a beer garden.
