That's the beauty of the English language: we have so many words with the same meaning that simultaneously impart an entirely different feeling or a mood. I don't believe that a word, however powerful and whatever it implies, should be limited to a single community. Mostly because it's impossible! No one can control a word or a thought once it's out there. You might disagree with its use outside of your own scheme, but you cannot copyright this term to mean something to others.
