Suspect arrested in 19 Bar shooting

Suspect Devon Michael Glen Strouss was arrested on Friday evening in connection with a shooting on Wednesday night at the 19 Bar.

According to Hennepin County booking information, Strouss was taken booked at the Hennepin County Jail at about 4:30pm. Bail has been set at $150,000. Strouss is being charged with two counts of 2nd degree assault with a dangerous weapon, and one count of discharging a dangerous weapon.

On Wednesday night, around 9:30pm, a man with a dog was escorted from the bar for being intoxicated. The bar manager closed the bar door behind the suspect, and the suspect fired 6 shots through the closed door, hitting the bar manager and a customer. Both were taken to HCMC with non-life-threatening injuries.
